Why This Coalescing Filter Element is Superior
In vacuum applications outgassing solvents or large gas loads, rotary vane pump exhaust is called oil carryover. It is actual droplets of oil being carried on the gas flow out of the pump exhaust. Oil carryover vacuum pump exhaust will quickly overwhelm most mist eliminator filters. Not this one.
This coalescing element in the exhaust filter is a round fiberglass-like material that is inert and stable for mist chemistry.
